Python in Finance

Python is increasingly being used in finance to solve financial problems. The use of Python in finance is recent, but is fast catching up. The problems range from simple discounted cash flow analysis to the highly complex sentiment analysis from news stories to create automatic trading algorithms. Whatever your goal is, Python is an easy to use and simple language which gives you power and flexibility. Python has well developed financial libraries which will be immensely beneficial to you during the course of development.

I am documenting my own journey and my tips and tricks about using python for financial problems. I hope to share my insights, knowledge and mistakes. I hope you will do the same through comments.
